Been in here 3x on two separate trips to Philly. Same experience all 3 times. Excellent food prepared out front by a very kindly cook. Fantastic bartenders. Great conversation with strangers next to me (always stemming from the 10/10 great playlist going on the stereo). The atmosphere in here is so warm and cozy. I'm not a person who hangs out in bars but every time I come here I seriously don't wanna leave. It looks a little out of the way on the map from all the tourist stuff but it's not. 22nd is a nice street to walk down.

The perfect neighborhood bar. The interior is welcoming and cozy. Both bartenders were incredibly kind. I saw a few of the roast beef sandwiches being prepared and they looked delicious. Had a really great time here and will surely be back. Edit: Did come back here after celebrating my birthday at the Mutter Museum and my initial review was correct. This place is the best. The bartenders are so kind and it makes for an outstanding visit. A great place to have a chat with people you care about.
Been a fan for over ten years and always come back. Best bar service and a old school spot as Philly gets. Laid back attitude, best sandwiches and crispy chips! It’s all I want sometimes in a bar...certainly a place stuck in time and doing it just right.
Great food and great atmosphere! It’s definitely a neighborhood bar where I always feel like we’re treated like family. If you want fancy and pretentious, go somewhere else. The staff is quality and old school in the best way!

I love this bar. The service is great! The bartenders are amazing. Especially Misty!! I made a great friend by going here on Friday afternoons when I go to meet my boyfriend on Fridays after work. We always have their food. Pork sandwiches and roast beef sandwiches are delicious. The owner is a great guy and always makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in Cherry Street!!’ I also love their music. They play all the old classics and some recent stuff as well.
